Ghostbusters vintage style dvdby ~jhroberts

after recently finding my original vhs copy of Ghostbusters mixed in with some old movies and junk, I thought I'd scan it and use it to a create a unique dvd replacement cover that mimics the faded distressed style of my vhs box - I couldnt use the original pictures on the back because at some point in my childhood I decided to draw "proton beams" in blue INK all going from the Ghostbusters guns to Louis/Dana and Slimer, so I just decided to use a production photo of the 3 main busters (before Winston joined the group) in the Sedgewick Hotel, and tried to "age" it appropriately - this distressed style is not going to appeal to everybody, but I thought I'd stray from the beaten path of GB dvd cover designs and do something a little different. (click for full view) if you like it so much that you want to print it out for a dvd cover replacement, send me a msg and I'll send you the original 300dpi file

this is really cool. I also like aged custom dvd covers. Reminds me of the way movies looked when you rented them back in the day.

Very nicely done.

If only there was still an RCA Columbia Home Video. Also, I think you could fit the little bar code beneath the Joseph Roberts credit on the back.
